The home of Sewing Inspirations is located 12 min out of Dunsborough in Yallingup Siding in a bush setting, surrounded by beautiful old trees, a magnificent veggie patch and birdsong. The Studio is equipped with height adjustable tables making fabric layout, cutting and pattern drafting comfortable for all. The chairs are likewise quality office chairs with separate tables for machines. Each participant has a cutting table, sewing table and chair available for their use. A wide range of classes and workshops are offered for both adults as well as children. There are Dressmaking Techniques, Pattern Skills, Stand Alone Skill Building Workshops, Home Furnishing, Accessories and so much more. Focus is placed on Upcycling and Refashioning for both children and adults. These classes/workshops are such a lot of fun and guaranteed to get everyone’s creative thoughts flowing. Sign up for the Newsletter to make sure you receive a class list as soon as it is available to save a space, as class sizes are small. There will be morning, afternoon and evening classes/workshops to accommodate everybody. Machines are available for loan at a fee. Please advise ahead of the session if you wish to book one. All machines are equipped with a range of feet including a walking foot, clear view feet etc. as well as needles supplied, appropriate for the project you will be working on. A selected range of my favourite quality haberdashery, sewing equipment and tools are available for purchase during Classes and Workshops. Full kitchen facilities are also available along with a steady stream of Coffee, Tea and something ‘sweet’ on the side to keep us sustained. The alfresco area makes for a lovely coffee and lunch break as does the lounge-corner with a book selection available for loan.
